Last week, Tara of ‘New Yorker in London‘ renown, graciously awarded me with The Brillante Weblog Premio 2008 in recognition for my ‘comprehensive restaurant reviews’.

Thank you once again, Tara.  Your acknowledgment is gratefully received.

Now the honour falls to me to pass it on to three more London-based blogs that have not already been recognised and which I enjoy reading. Without further ado, in alphabetical order:

Very flattering to receive this, though I was passed this very award along with a couple of others a few months back. Feel free to pass it onto someone else, although I don’t mind getting it again! Thanks again…

Hey man, just want to let you know how much i love your site.

You claim to be a food snob, but in fact you’re probably the least pretentious and most humbly passionate food blogger.

While others are clammering about how one place’s foie gras preparation isn’t as good as another’s in the ever present attempt of dropping names and michelin guide annecdotes, you actually spend the time to explore the deep history behind the food, the restaurant’s, the chefs.

It’s just refreshing to see that in the world of food bloggers, it is the “food snob” who is in fact probably the lease snobbiest of them all.
